As a professional Rodeo and Bull Riding Entertainer & Barrel man, Ryan Litwin, otherwise known as Rocket Ryan, is in a unique position to promote the sport of hunting. A lifelong hunter, bow hunting took its hold on Ryan after moving west to Montana. Ryan has worked as a mule deer and elk-hunting guide since 1999, a lifestyle that he is still involved in today. With the success of his Rodeo career since moving to Montana, almost a decade ago, has come the opportunity to spend an average of 120 or more days a year in the field hunting, guiding and filming. Hunting is not a pastime or hobby, it is a lifestyle and something he is passionate, check that, obsessive about. It’s not simply what he does, it’s more a part of who he is. While Ryan enjoys all his time in the outdoors, if pressed he would quickly tell you that bowhunting for elk is his passion. With a rich hunting tradition instilled in him by his Father, Ryan works hard to pass on the outdoors lifestyle.

We didn’t cut any tracks on the snowmobile, so we “took another walk” with the dogs. Honestly it wasn’t near as rough as yesterday (Partly because I took my pack from 40 (continue reading...)

Colorado Mountain Lion Hunt

Colorado Mountain Lion hunting is one of the most rewarding and (to be honest) the most physically demanding bowhunts an archery hunter can do. Well, at least the way we at Outback Outdoors do it.
